Bathing of Corpse in Islam!!!

Bathing of Corpse in Islam!!!

Bathing a corpse is a "fardu kifaayah"-once some persons have done it, other people are free of sin of not bathing it.

If we remember that day we will be stripped off our clothes, unclad, I think this should make us to be weary of Allah.

Everyone that dies as a Muslim must be bathed. However, if a person dies from being burnt and it is possible to wash him, then he should be washed. But if there is the fear that the body may be damaged or caused to disintegrate by washing, then water should be poured over him; if there is the fear that this may cause the body to disintegrate still, then tayammum should be done if possible.

Ibn Qudaamah (may Allaah have mercy on him) said: The one who has been crushed by a fallen wall, the one who has been burned and the one who has drowned should be washed if possible; if there is the fear that washing may cause the body to distingreate, then water should be poured over them without touching them. If there is still the fear that water may cause the body to distintegarte, then they should not be washed, but tayammum should be done for them if possible, as in the case of a living person who may be harmed by water.

If it is not possible to wash the deceased because there is no water available, then tayammum should be done, and if it is possible to wash some parts and not others, then those parts that can be washed should be washed, and tayammum should be done for the rest, as is the case of the living.

The GHUSL Procedure (Washing and Shrouding)
When a Muslim dies, it is the responsibility of his family or other Muslims within the local community to wash him according to the Islamic rites of washing the deceased. Usually, at least three to four people will be involved with the actual ghusl (washing and shrouding).
The persons who may wash the deceased should include :
1. An adult Muslim, honest and trustworthy person.
2. Be of the same gender as the deceased i.e if the deceased is male, then ONLY males should wash him. For a child, either males or females may do the ghusl once he/she knows the Islamic way of washing the deceased and be able to carry out the ghusl.
A husband can wash his deceased wife and vice versa. A son can neither wash his mum, nor can a daughter wash her dad.
PLACE OF WASHing:
The body of the deceased should be washed with water and, if available, lotus leaves, or camphor (to be used in the final wash).
The steps of the washing should be done at least three times or any more odd number of times as necessary to cleanse.
Always be mindful of infection control and protecting the person performing the Ghusl.

STEPS OF WASHING:
Privacy for the deceased is a crucial and important requirement at all times during the ghusl.
The body of the deceased should be placed on a table or alike, the deceased’s clothes should be removed , and the body should be covered with a sheet of cloth at all times during the ghusl; the Auwra (private parts) of the deceased should be covered with a sheet of cloth (The aura of a male is from the belly button to the knee in the presence of males, for the female, it is the same in the presence of females). The head and the upper body should be raised slightly to ensure the washing water with exudations from the body flows down and does not run back to the body. Remove any items or objects not already removed like watches, hospital or mortuary ID tags, wound dressings, IV lines, peg tubes, artificial limbs etc.
If there is any active bleeding or wound discharge, then that may be padded and dressed.
The washer should start washing by saying: "Bismillah" (In the name of Allah) The washer wears gloves or winds a piece of cloth around his hand, and with this, he cleans away any impurities from the body using water. Then he should dispose of the gloves. The washer should take another pair of gloves, press lightly the stomach of the deceased so as to expel, if possible, any remnants from it, and then wash the body of all impurities using water. Then he should dispose of the gloves. The washer should take another pair of gloves and wash the covered private parts, then dispose of the gloves. The washer should perform wudhu (ablution) for the deceased without inserting the water in the nose and in the mouth. He or she may use a piece of wet cotton wool in a small roll to clean the nose and front teeth of the deceased.
The washer should clean the body with water and soap (if available), starting from the head (hair, face and beard in men), then the upper right side of the body, then the left side, after that the lower right side then the lower left.
In the case of a female, her hair should be loosened, washed, combed, and be braided in three braids, and placed behind her back.
The washing should be done three times, or five times, or seven times, as needed, providing that after washing the head, wash the right side before the left, and the upper parts before the lower ones in the last wash. The washer may use camphor, or some perfume with the water. After that, the body should be dried with clean towel then the body should be covered with a clean sheet. The auwra must be kept covered at all times.
Get ready to start the shrouding.
SPECIAL NOTE:
In case the deceased is a female in her menstrual period or have child birth bleeding, padding should be used to prevent blood from leaving the body.
May Allah forgive the Muslims that had died and the living ones. Whomever Allah makes to live among us, may it be on Islam and whomever He takes his/her life, may it be on "eeman"Ameen.

How do you treat those who work for you?

How do you treat those who work for you?

How do you treat those who work for you?
Asalamu Alaikun warahmatulahi wabarakatuk, Allah subhanawo watallah, the created, sustainer, provider, protector, and curer of one and all.
Complete blessing and salutation be upon Prophet Muhammad salallahu Alaihi wasallam, his Household, his companion, those that follow him, those shall follow him, shall follow him up-to the day of judgement.Ameen.
After praising Allahu subhanawo watallah and sending salutation be upon our beloved Prophet Muhammad salallahu Alaihi wasallam.
I want us to learn a lesson from the Hadith of Anas bin Malik, how Prophet Muhammad salallahu Alaihi wasallam Treat him as his servant.
Hadith on Manners: Anas testifies to the character of the Prophet Muhammad Salallahu Alaihi wasallam.
Anas ibn Malik reported: I served the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, for ten years. By Allah, he never even said to me, “Uff!” He never said harshly for anything, “Why did you do that?” or, “Why did you not do that?”
Source: Sahih al-Bukharī 5691, Sahih Muslim 2309
Grade: Muttafaqun Alayhi (authenticity agreed upon) according to Al-Bukhari and Muslim.
The point I want raise here is how do you treat those who work for you?
Imagine Anas was given to Prophet Muhammad salallahu Alaihi wasallam as a servant by his mother and he said he serve Prophet Muhammad salallahu Alaihi wasallam for ten all years, By Allah, he never even said to me Uff! to me.(not one day he passed a comment that hurts me, not once). I sat and think for those who work for us, how do we treat them? did we make a comment that hurt them? when we ask them to do something that is very easy and it will not take them a minute to do and they take ten minutes too long, what will we said? we might said or make little noise like Uff!, AHH! or something similar to these, what do you think you're doing? If we make a little noise, we're are we with the sunnah of Prophet Muhammad salallahu Alaihi wasallam?.

He continue and he said He never said harshly for anything, “Why did you do that?” or, “Why did you not do that?” Anas said, one day I was sent by Prophet Muhammad salallahu Alaihi wasallam to do something, as I was going, then I saw young boys of my age playing a game, so i stay and I joined them and letter, I now enter on my forgot of what I was told to do, a while letter, someone just tap me on my shoulder and I look back to see who the person was and it was Prophet Muhammad salallahu Alaihi wasallam, he smiled at me and he said, Ya unais, did you forgot what I told you? I replied No yarasulullah sallahlahu Alaihi wasallam I will go now ya rasulullah salallahu Alaihi wasallam and I went". In other narration Prophet Muhammad salallahu Alaihi wasallam went to it by him self.
Salallahu Alaihi wasallam.
I want us to draw a lesson from this, imagine you send your boy to do some necessary thing for you and you letter saw him playing a game, suddenly you tap him at his back, what will that boy think of? the boy might said, " I'm death!!! I lost my job.
what will you do?
Are you going to beat him, shout at him or sack him completely from the job, take a look at what prophet salallahu Alaihi wasallam did to Anas bin Malik, he smiled at him and said to him ya unais(he add loved and respect to Anas name by calling him ya unais) did you forget what I ask you to do? How many of us is ready to follow this beautiful exam of Prophet Muhammad salallahu Alaihi wasallam.
Anas said: Wallahi I sarve Muhammad salallahu Alaihi wasallam for Ten all years:
He never ever slap me and He never Swear me.
My brothers my sisters I want us to learn a lesson from these, look at the Prophet Muhammad salallahu Alaihi wasallam with Anas bin Malik, serving him for 10 all years, he never slap him, he never swear him, he never ask him why did you do this, why did you do it this way, He will do it by him self with a smile.
Let seat and think of those who work with us or those who work for us, did we ever slap, shout or swear for them? If we ever slap, shout and swear them, we're are we with the sunnah of Prophet Muhammad salallahu Alaihi wasallam, perfect example.
Allah subhanawo Watallah said in the Qur'an 33 verse 21
Indeed, you have perfect example in the life of Muhammad salallahu Alaihi wasallam in the person of Muhammad salallahu Alaihi wasallam for those who remember Allah for those who are looking forward for meeting Allah subhanawo watallah those are looking forward for the Hereafter their is example in Muhammad salallahu Alaihi wasallam.

Here he is, No swear words for those who work for him, never did he shout and never did he slap.
May Allah subhanawo watallah guide us to the straight part and protect us from evil.Ameen.

Some people do ask why do we celebrate Maulud?
I sat and I think do this people love Prophet Muhammad salallahu Alaihi wasallam the reason why I ask that question is because I withness them celebrating their birthday, their friends their families and even help some non Muslim celebrate it but when it come to the best of all the creatures of Allah, subhanawo watallah, them said its bid'a(innovation).

Important of sharing knowledge

Important of sharing knowledge

Asalamu Alaikun my brothers and sisters in Islam. We will be speaking about how important to share beneficial knowledge.
The Prophet Muhammad may peace be upon him said: "The best amongs you is the one who learn the Qur'an and teach it to others" The point we want to raise here is  If you have  knowledge, teach it to others no matter what, they will be no any benefit of keeping that knowledge with you because you will die with it and nobody will benefit from it
So my brothers, my sisters, share the little knowledge you have so that others may benefit from you even if you are to spend a little bit of what you have. In other narration of the Prophet Muhammad S.A.W said: "whoever create ease for mankind, Allah will create ease for him in the day of judgement".
May Allah Subhanawo watallah let us share the little knowledge we have and guide us to the straight part. Ameen.

Luqman also known as Luqman the Wise.

Luqman also known as Luqman the Wise.

The truth fact about luqman being a prophet of Allah.
Alhamdulilah All praise is due to Allah S.W.A Complete blessing and salutation be upon prophet Muhamad Sallaahu Alaihi wasalam his companion, his household, and those that follow him, those shall follow him up to the day of kiyammah Ameen.
Luqman (also known as Luqman the Wise, Luqmaan, Lukman, and Luqman al-Hakeem; was a wise man for whom Surah Luqman the 31surah (chapter) of the Quran, was named. While the Quran does not state many personal details about Luqman's life, including when or where Luqman lived.
Some of the books of the seerah (historian's) make mentioned of him as a man from Nubiant descent, while others state that he was of South Arabian origin. There are many stories about Luqman in Persian , Arabic and Turkish literature , and various tafsir collections comment upon these stories.

The Quran does not state whether or not Luqman was a prophet, and Islamic scholars have differing views of the matter.
The story of Luqman is mentioned in Sura Luqman (31:12-19).
More About Luqman is stated in Ibn Kathir’s book, A summary of that story is stated below.

Luqman Ibn ‘Anqa’ Ibn Sadun or, as stated by As-Suhaili from Ibn Jarir and Al-Qutaibi, Luqman Ibn Tharan , was from among the people of Aylah (Jerusalem). He was a pious man who exerted himself in worship and who was blessed with wisdom.
Sufyan Ath- Thawri narrated from Al- Ash’ath after ‘Ikrimah on the authority of Ibn ‘Abbas (May Allah be pleased with him) that he was an Ethiopian slave who worked as a carpenter.
Qatadah narrated from Abdullah Ibn Az-Zubair that Jabir Ibn ‘Abdullah when asked about Luqman, said: “He was short with a flat nose. He wasfrom Nubia.”
Yahia Ibn Sa’ id Al-Ansari said after Sa’ id Ibn Al-Musayib that Luqman belonged to the black men of Egypt. He had thick lips and Allah the Almighty granted him wisdom but not prophethood.
‘Umar Ibn Qais and Al-A’mash narrated after Mujahid: Luqman was a huge black slave, thick lipped. While he was preaching a man who used to know him saw him and said: “Aren’t you the slave of so and so who used to look after my sheep not so long in the past?” Luqman said: “Yes!” The man said: “What raised you to this high state I see?” Luqman said: “The Divine Decree, repaying the trust, telling the truth and discarding and keeping silent regarding what does not concern me.” (This Hadith was narrated by Ibn Jarir after lbn Hamid after Al-Hakam.).
Ibn Wahb narrates that Luqman’s answer to the question about what had raised his status that people came to him for advice his answer was: “Lowering my gaze, watching my tongue, eating what is lawful, keeping my chastity, undertaking my promises, fulfilling my commitments, being hospitable to guests, respecting my neighbors, and discarding what does not concern me. All these made me the one you are looking at.” Abu Ad-Darda’ added that Luqman the wise was granted wisdom because he was self-restrained, silent, deep-thinking, and he never slept during the day. No one had ever seen him observing foolishly laughing.
He was very eloquent and well-versed or knowledgeable. He did not weep or cry when all his children died. He even used to frequent the princes and men of authority to mediate.

The majority of scholars are of the view that he was a wise man and not a prophet. Moreover, he was mentioned in the Glorious Qur’an and was highly praised by Allah S.W.A Who narrates his advice to his own son in which the first act that he forbids is Shirk (joining others with Allah S.W.A.)
The Prophet Muhammad(S.A.W.) also referred to Luqman’s saying this to his son, where Allah S.W.A said;

And (remember) when Luqman said unto his son, when he was exhorting him: O my dear son! Ascribe no partners unto Allah. Lo! to ascribe partners (unto Him) is a tremendous wrong -.(Luqman, 31:13).
The next advice that Luqman gives to his son and to mankind is taking care of parents. He states their rights over the children and tells the children to be kind to their parents even if they were nonbelievers. However, it is clarified that they should not be obeyed if they are inviting to disbelief in Allah S.W.A
This is followed by:
“ O my son! If it be (anything) equal to the weight of a grain of mustard seed, and though it be in a rock, or in the heavens or in the earth, Allah S.W.A will bring it forth. Verily, Allah S.W.A is Subtle (in bringing out that grain), Well-Aware (of its place),” i.e., he forbids wrong to the people even in the slightest way, for Allah S.W.A will bring it forth and bring him to account on the Day of kiyamah (Resurrection).
Luqman’s further advice to his son is : “O my son! perform As- Salat, enjoin (on people) Islamic Monotheism and all that is good and forbid (people) from disbelief in the Oneness of Allah, polytheists of all kinds and all that is evil and bad,i.e., with your hand, with your tongue and if you could not, let it be with your heart (i.e. reject and resent it). Then, he advised him to observe sobr (patience), he further said: “ and bear with patience whatever befalls you,” for the enjoining of what is good and forbidding the evil, will probably earn enmity from those who resent being corrected (but, the final reward form Allah S W A would surely be his). “ Verily, these are some of the important commandments (ordered by Allah with no exemption).”

Luqman warns his son against the sin of pride: “ And turn not your face away from men with pride,” cautioning against being showy or arrogant. Further, the advice regarding one’s bearing is: “ nor walk in insolence through the earth. Verily, Allah S.W.A likes not any arrogant boaster.”
Luqman then advises his son to be moderate in his walking: “And be moderate in your walking, and lower your voice,” i.e., if you talk, do not raise your voice very loudly because the braying of the donkey is the harshest of all voices.

Abu Hurairah (May Allah be pleased with him) narrated: The Prophet (S.A.W)said: “When you hear the crowing of cocks, ask for Allah’s Blessings for (their crowing indicates that) they have seen an angel. And when you hear the braying of donkeys, seek refuge with Allah from Satan for (their braying indicates) that they have seen a Satan” (transmitted by Imam Al-Bukhari in his Sahih).
Other advice given by Luqman has been mentioned in a book titled Hikmat Luqman (Luqman’s Wisdom). From this valuable book, we get the following:
“On my son! Verily, wisdom has brought the indigent to the courts of kings” (narrated by Damurah after As- Sariy Ibn Yahia).

“O my son! If you come to a people’s setting, greet them with (saying As-Salamu ‘Alaikum (Peace be with you)), then, take a side and do not utter a word till they speak. If you find them observing the Remembrance of Allah, join them.
But, if they observe anything else, turn away from them and seek others (who remember Allah S.W.A)” (narrated by ‘Abdah lbn Sulaiman after Ibn Al-Mubarak after ‘Abdur Rahman Al-Mas’ udi after ‘Aun Ibn ‘Abdullah).
“O my son! Take Allah’s Obedience as your trade, and you will gain profits without having any merchandises” (narrated by Saiyar after Ja’far after Malik Ibn Dinar). “O my son! Fear Allah and do not let the people notice that you fear Him to gain honor (from them) while your heart is sinful” (narrated by Abul Ashhab after Muhammad Ibn Wasi’). “O my son! I have never regretted keeping silent. If words are silver, silence is golden” (told by Hasan after Al-Junaid after Sufyan).
“O my son! Stay away from evil and it will stay away from you, for evil begets nothing but evil” (told by ‘Abdul Samad and Waki’ after Abul Ashhab after Qatadah).
“O my son! Choose between gatherings (of people) precisely! If you find a gathering in which Allah is mentioned, sit yourself with them. Thus, if you are knowledgeable, your knowledge will benefit you; but, if you are ignorant, they will teach you; and if Allah wishes to do them good, you will be benefited therewith.
O my son! Do not sit in a gathering in which Allah is not mentioned because if you are knowledgeable, your knowledge will not benefit you; and if you are ignorant, they will add to your ignorance; and if Allah S.W.A wishes to afflict them with harm, you will be afflicted with them.
O my son! Do not rejoice at seeing a strong man who sheds the blood of the faithful, for Allah appoints for him a killer that does not ever die” (narrated by Imam Ahmed after ‘Abdur Rahman Ibn Mahdi after Nafi’ Ibn ‘Umar after Ibn Abu Malikah after ‘Ubaid Ibn ‘Umair).

“O my son: Let your speech be good and your face be smiling; you will be more loved by the people than those who give them provisions.” And, he said: “It is stated in the wisdom of the Torah: “Kindness is the head of wisdom.” And, he said: “It is stated in the Torah: “As you show mercy (to others), mercy will be shown to you.” And, he said: “It is stated in the wisdom: “You will gain what you give (or, harvest what you grow).” And, he said: “It is stated in the wisdom: “Love your friend and the friend of your father” (narrated by Abu Mu’awiyah after Hisham Ibn ‘Urwah).
Luqman advised his son not to befriend a fool for it might give him the impression that his foolishness is being approved of; and not to anger a wise man for he might distance himself (narrated by Dawud Ibn Rashid after Ibn Al-Mubarak after Mu’amir after Abu ‘Uthman).
Luqman was once asked: “Who is the best one in terms of patience?” He said: “It is the one who practices no harm after observing patience.” Then he was asked: “Who is the best one in terms of knowledge?” He said : “It is he who adds to his own knowledge through the knowledge of others. ” When asked: “Who is the best from among the whole people?” he said: “It is the wealthy.” They said: “Is it the one who has properties and riches?” He said: “No! But, it is the one who is generous in doing good when others seek it from him, and, it is the one who does not need anything from others”( narrated by Abdur Razzaq after Mu’amir after Ayyub after Abu Qulabah).
Yazid Ibn Hamn and Waki’ told us after Abul AShhab about Khalid Ar- Rab’i as saying: “Luqman was an Ethiopian slave who worked as a carpenter. One day, his master ordered him to slaughter a goat and bring him the most nice and delicious two parts from it. Luqman brought him the tongue and heart. The master asked: “Didn’t you find anything more nice than these?” Luqman said: “No!” After a while, the master ordered him to slaughter a goat and to throw away two of the most malignant parts. Luqman slaughtered the goat and threw away the tongue and heart. The master exclaimed and said: “I ordered you to bring me the most delicious parts and you brought me the tongue and heart, and I ordered you to throw away the most malignant parts and you threw away the tongue and heart, how can this be?” Luqman said: “Nothing can be more pleasing than these if they are good and nothing can be more malicious than these if they are malignant.”

Dawud Ibn Usaid told us after Isma’il Ibn ‘Ayyash after Damdam Ibn Zar’ah after Shuraih Ibn ‘Ubaid Al-Hadrami after ‘Abdullah Ibn Zaid: Luqman said: “Verily, Allah’s Hand is on the mouths of wise men; none of them speaks but with what Allah S.W.A assigned for him.”
Abdur Razzaq told us after Mu’amir after Ayyub after Abu Qulabah that according to Sufyan Ibn ‘Uyaynah, Luqman was asked: ‘Who is the worst of all people?” He replied : “It is the one who does not feel shame if found committing a sinful deed.”
Abu As-Samad reported to us that Malik Ibn Dianr said: I found some pieces of-wisdom as follows: “Allah Almighty scatters and wastes the bones of those who give religious opinions that go with the people’s lusts and desires.” And, “There is no good for you that you learn something new while you do not practice what you have learned previously. This is like a man who gathered a pile of dry wood, then tried to carry it but couldn’t. Thereupon, he collected a second one.”
Ibn Abu Hatim said: I was told by my father after Al-‘Abbas Ibn Al-Walid after Zaid Ibn Yahya Ibn ‘Ubaid Al-Khuza’i after Sa’id Ibn Bashir that Qatadah said: Allah Almighty enabled Luqman to choose between Prophethood and wisdom and he (Luqman) preferred wisdom to Prophethood. Then, Gabriel came while he was asleep and poured the wisdom over him. And, he began to pronounce it the next morning.
Many from among our earlier scholars, foremost among whom were Mujahid, Sa’id Ibn Al-Musayyb and Ibn ‘Abbas (May Allah be pleased with him), were of the view that Allah’s Statement that reads: “And indeed We bestowed upon Luqman Al- Hikmah (wisdom),” means: discretion and religious understanding. He was not a Prophet and nothing had been revealed to him Al- Wahi (Divine Inspiration).
This story was taken from the summarized version of Ibn-Kathir book available in an e-book form at the following link and source: Quranic Verses related to the story of LUQMAN make reference to Luqman.
In the Quran
The Quranic account of Luqman's life involves him offering his son religious and moral advice. He urges his son to avoid polytheism and worship Allah alone. [Quran 31:14 ]
He also instructs his son to be modest in attitude and to avoid arrogance. [Quran 31:18 ]
While the text states that Allah gave Luqman "wisdom", it does not explicitly state that he is a prophet.

A number of scholars speculate that he was a mythical figure known in pre-Islamic times, though there has been much debate about the relationship of the pre-Islamic and Islamic Luqmans. Some maintain that the two are the same person; others that they simply share the same name. Both Ibn Kathir and the Islamic historian Ibn Ishaq allude to a pre- Islamic "Book of Luqman", or "roll of Luqman", containing his wisdom, though no such work has survived, and it is unclear if the reports of its existence are true.

"O Son, if thou art able not to sleep, then thou art able not to die. And if thou art able not to waken after sleep, then thou shalt be able not to rise after death.”

One of such evil means of acquiring wealth which is described in the Holy Qur'an is Al-Riba

One of such evil means of acquiring wealth which is described in the Holy Qur'an is Al-Riba

One of such evil means of acquiring wealth which is described in Holy Qur'an is Al-Riba.this practice exist during jahiliyah period and it also exist in modern term.
The aidea of Riba is equivalent in the concept of modern Banks interest, borrowing with interest is now unfotunately a world wide fenorminor.

Definition of Riba (Usury);Riba literary means increase or addition and refare to premium that must be paid by the borrower to the Leander along with the principal amount as a condition to the loan it's equivalent to interest.
Types of RibaThere are two types of Ribs namely;

  • 1- Riba Al-Nasiah.
  • 2- Riba Al-fadl.
  • Riba Al-Nasiah; simply means an addition of the money which is paid to the Leander in return for the loan and is technically the same as interest.
Riba Al-fadl; simply means extension of Riba to trade it cover all income earned through trade by the dishonesty, fraud and unfair exchange.
Now that we have defined the world Riba, and his types we shall look into the holy Qur'an, and sunnah that show the forbidden of Riba.
The holy Qur'an as contain in surratul Bakarah Q:2:275 where Allah subhanawo wata'alah said; Those who swallow usury cannot rise up save as he ariseth whom the devil hath prostrated by (his) touch. That is because they say: Trade is just like usury; whereas Allah permitteth trading and forbiddeth usury. He unto whom an admonition from his Lord cometh, and (he) refraineth (in obedience thereto), he shall keep (the profits of) that which is past, and his affair(henceforth) is with Allah. As for him who returneth (to usury) - Such are right of the Fire. They will abide therein..
    Another authority
    Q2:276 where Allah subhanawo wata'alah said;
    يَمۡحَقُ ٱللَّهُ ٱلرِّبَوٰاْ وَيُرۡبِى ٱلصَّدَقَـٰتِ ۗ وَٱللَّهُ لَا يُحِبُّ كُلَّ كَفَّارٍ أَثِيمٍ Allah hath blighted usury and made almsgiving fruitful. Allah loveth not the impious and guilty.
    Similarly Q 2:278 where Allah subhanawo wata'alah said;
O ye who believe! Observe your duty to Allah, and give up what remaineth (due to you) from usury, if ye are (in truth) believers.
    Again in Q 2:279 Allah said;
And if ye do not, then be warned of war (against you) from Allah and His messenger. And if ye repent, then ye have your principal (without interest). Wrong not, and ye shall not be wronged.
    Further more in Q 4:161 Allah said;
And of their taking usury when they were forbidden it, and of their devouring people's wealth by false pretences, We have prepared for those of them who disbelieve a painful doom.
    Also Q 3:130 Allah said;
O ye who believe! Devour not usury, doubling and quadrupling (the sum lent). Observe your duty to Allah, that ye may be successful.
    also in Q 3:130 Allah said;
And ward off (from yourselves) the Fire prepared for disbelievers.
    Also chapter Q30:39
That which ye give in usury in order that it may increase on (other) people's property hath no increase with Allah; but that which ye give in charity, see king Allah's Countenance, hath increase manifold
Sunnatic point of view for the prohibition of Riba. The sunnah of prophet Muhammad may peace be upon him is equally rich for prohibition of Riba the prophet may peace be upon him Has pronouns Allah course on those involved in the practice of Usury.
Hazrat jabir may Allah be please with him reported the prophet of Allah said; "Allah has course one who except Usury one who paid it one who recorded it and two witness to it.
In another Hadith Abu Huraira reported that Riba has 70 segments the lease serious among them is a man committing adultery with his mother.
    In another Hadith the Holy prophet said; Allah will be justify in no allowing four person to enter Paradise they include;

  • 1- He who drink habitually.
  • 2- He who take riba.
  • 3- He who eat ophance property.
  • 4- He who is undutyfy to his parents.
  • May Allah safeguard us and protect us from these four things. Ameen
In another Hadith the prophet has report to have said; I came across some people who have protruded stomach and snake are eating from their stomach I ask who are these people Angel jibril he said they are people who received Riba.Reason behind the prohibition of Riba.
Under Islamic law it's not permissible for a believe to ask for the reason behind the prohibition of Riba, the best thing for a believer is just to said we hear and we summit.
However in an institute or academic environment it will not be wrong to us to ask the reason behind it prohibition.
    The reasons for the prohibition of Riba (Usury) are as follows;
1- the borrower is always receiving end.
2- Riba (Usury) transfer wealth to the rich lender.
3- The poor borrower is under risk in case where invest the money and he fail.
The followings are the effect of Riba (Usury).1- injustice and unjustifiable means enrichments. See Qur'an 2:278-282 as we have mentioned earlier.
The prophet Muhammad may peace be with him said; while he was underlined of journey ascendant to heaven he said he saw something written in door of heaven, sadaqar has ten(10) reward and loan has (18) reward he said he ask the angel jibril how comes the loan is given more reward than sadaqar the angel replied him the begger who ask has already has something the person who ask for loan he is in need of it.

  • 2- it favour the rich against the poor.
  • 3- effect on production.
  • 4- effect in the economy.
  • 5- social political Congress and insecurity in the society.
  • All these ingredients has been found in our community today across the globe may Allah subhanawo watalah safeguard us and protect us from engaging into usury. Ameen. and those who are in the system ya Allah guide them Ammen.

fasting in the month of shaban

fasting in the month of shaban

    It's Better Late than Never!!!
    Qur'an Ch44, V3-4 and Nisfu Sha'baan (half (15th) of the month of Sha'baan)
Fasting in the month of Sha'baan is highly recommended as the Prophet salallahu alaihi wasallam also used to fast most days of the month as narrated by Ummuna Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her).
It should be noted that it is NOT recommended to specifically choose a day for fasting or a night for standing in prayer (Qiyaamu Nisfu Sha'baan) Some people have however choosen the exact 15th of the month as a day of fasting and observing voluntary prayer with no clear evidence from the statement or action of the Prophet. They even go along way to claim that the half of Sha'baan has some virtues over other days using the verses of the Qur'an to support their fallacy.
The verse I've read and heard them used as their proof is Verse 3-4 Surah Ad-Dukhan Allah Ta'alaa said: "Surely We revealed it on a blessed night surely We are ever warning-- Therein every wise affair is made distinct."
They claim that the "blessed night" mentioned in the verse is referring to laylatu nisfu Sha'baan. This is not true and it is not in-line with the understanding of the majority of the salaf (the pious predecessors). The "blessed night" is laylatul Qadr (Night of Power) as Allah said: Verse 1:Surah Al-Qadr "Surely We revealed it on the grand night." This is also because it is unanimously agreed that the revelation of the Glorious Qur'an started on laylatul Qadr. (Tafseerul Qurtubi)
Therefore, the night referred to in this verse of Saratu Dukhaan is laylatul Qadr not Nisfu Sha'baan. This is the view of Qataadah, Ibn Zaid and some other scholars.
Ibn Katheer said:"...and whoever claims that the blessed night is nisfu Sha'baan just as it reported from Ikrimah has made a great mistake.. " Ibn Katheer went further to clarify a weak Hadith on that respect.
May Allah be our guide. Ameen.

10 Things To Do Before Ramadan.

10 Things To Do Before Ramadan.

Dear Brothers and sisters in islam,All Praise is to Allaah who has brought us to this moment, Rajab. There's no doubt, Ramadan is fast knocking on our doors, thus, we beseech Allaah(SWT) to preserve us in faith and health till then, ameen.
I know you are aware of what Ramadan comes with; its virtues and opportunities. Hence, I admonish you and myself on the following:
    1. Repay your missed fasts, don't be in the league of those seeking fatwa when others are seeking the new moon.
2.Try and perfect your recitations; will you be missing the great rewards of reciting the Quran in this year's Ramadan because of the difficulty you encounter in recitation? There's time, go and meet your Imam, Mallam, Alfa.. rectify those "crackings". May Allaah make it easy.
3.Go for a medical check up and treat your ailments, may Allaah heal you. You may repay fast if missed but what's better than fasting Ramadan in the blessed month itself?
4.Go and do muraja(revision); yes! you've memorized 1,2,3...30 juz from the Quran. Will you be holding mushaf to perform qiyamulayl??
5.Get used to tahajud..... Long one, don't be in the first 3 taraweeh league.
    6. Start saving up: if feeding yourself and your family may be difficult, you still have time to put things together and 'hussle'too.
    7. Learn more about Ramadan: Yes, there will be many seatings of knowledge in Ramadan but you need to attend before it. Plus, ask questions about unclear or unknown rulings. You can't afford to waste your effort. May Allaah accept it.
    8. Don't be a glutton: you know you can't do without eating an hour. Ramadan is at your door, be disciplined!
    9. AVOID ALCOHOL : it's a sin yesterday, today and tomorrow, not only in Ramadan. It's the mother of sins and renders your 40 days solah useless. Imagine! Someone sips a cup of alcohol on 21st of sha'ban.... Alcohol ingestion is evil.. Avoid it!!!!!!!!
    10. Sharing of this Article . . .
    Please share this.
May Allaah preserve us till the month of Ramadan. May He strengthen us to be able to perform as many deeds in the Holy Month and afterwards and reward us from His mercies, Ameen.

    the virtue of fasting

    the virtue of fasting

    The virtue of fasting:
Firstly: clear verses from the book of Allah which incite the Muslim to fast, in order to draw closer to Allah and which explain the virtue of it:
    Allah subnawo wataalah said:
(Fast) a certain number of days; and (for) him who is sick among you, or on a journey, (the same) number of other days; and for those who can afford it there is a ransom: the feeding of a man in need - but whoso doeth good of his own accord, it is better for him: and that ye fast is better for you if ye did but know -Q-2:184
Because of the goodness which is inherent to fasting in these circumstances, it is clear to us that it contains the basis elements required for controlling one's desire, and a preference for workshopping Allah while being at ease. all of these elements are required in Islamic training. Likewise, it is clear to us that fasting holds a number of healthful advantages except for the invalid even if the fasting person experiences some strain due to it.
    Allah suhanawo wataallah said:
Lo! men who surrender unto Allah, and women who surrender, and men who believe and women who believe, and men who obey and women who obey, and men who speak the truth and women who speak the truth, and men who persevere (in righteousness) and women who persevere, and men who are humble and women who are humble, and men who give alms and women who give alms, and men who fast and women who fast, and men who guard their modesty and women who guard (their modesty), and men who remember Allah much and women who remember - Allah hath prepared for them forgiveness and a vast reward.Q-33:35
Secondly: the clear varses from the book of AllahWhich spreak of fasting as an atonement for things such as shaving the head while in a state of ihram, when one is permitted to do so, due to illness or some harm to the head, because of this inability to provide a sacrificial animal, killing a person by mistake who is protected by a treaty, breaking one's oath, killing game while in while in a state of ihram and ziharah.
    Allay subhawo wataala said:
Perform the pilgrimage and the visit (to Makka) for Allah. And if ye are prevented, then send such gifts as can be obtained with ease, and shave not your heads until the gifts have reached their destination. And whoever among you is sick or hath an ailment of the head must pay a ransom of fasting or almsgiving or offering. And if ye are in safety, then whosoever contenteth himself with the visit for the pilgrimage (shall give) such gifts as can be had with ease. And whosoever cannot find (such gifts), then a fast of three days while on the pilgrimage, and of seven when ye have returned; that is, ten in all. That is for him whoso folk are not present at the Inviolable Place of Worship. Observe your duty to Allah, and know that Allah is severe in punishment.Q-2:196
And also Allah the most high said:
It is not for a believer to kill a believer unless (it be) by mistake. He who hath killed a believer by mistake must set free a believing slave, and pay the blood-money to the family of the slain, unless they remit it as a charity. If he (the victim) be of a people hostile unto you, and he is a believer, then (the penance is) to set free a believing slave. And if he cometh of a folk between whom and you there is a covenant, then the blood-money must be paid unto his folk and (also) a believing slave must be set free. And whoso hath not the wherewithal must fast two consecutive months. A penance from Allah. Allah is Knower, Wise. Q-4:92.
And he, the most high said:
Allah will not take you to task for that which is unintentional in your oaths, but He will take you to task for the oaths which ye swear in earnest. The expiation thereof is the feeding of ten of the needy with the average of that wherewith ye feed your own folk, or the clothing of them, or the liberation of a slave, and for him who findeth not (the wherewithal to do so) then a three days' fast. This is the expiation of your oaths when ye have sworn; and keep your oaths. Thus Allah expoundeth unto you His revelations in order that ye may give thanks.Q-5:89
And he the must high said:
O ye who believe! Kill no wild game while ye are on the pilgrimage. Whoso of you killeth it of set purpose he shall pay its forfeit in the equivalent of that which he hath killed, of domestic animals, the judge to be two men among you known for justice, (the forfeit) to be brought as an offering to the Ka'bah; or, for expiation, he shall feed poor persons, or the equivalent thereof in fasting, that he may taste the evil consequences of his deed. Allah forgiveth whatever (of this kind) may have happened in the past, but whoso relapseth, Allah will take retribution from him. Allah is Mighty, Able to Requite (the wrong).Q-5:95
    And he must high says:
Such of you as put away your wives (by saying they are as their mothers) - They are not their mothers; none are their mothers except those who gave them birth - they indeed utter an ill word and a lie. And lo! Allah is Forgiving, Merciful.
Thirdly: fasting and the Qur'an will intercede for the one who fasts and recites the Qur'an
It is reported on the authority of 'Abdullah ibn 'Amr ibn Al-As may Allah be please with him that the messenger of Allah may peace and blessing of Allah be upon him said:
"Fasting and Qur'an intercede for the slave on the day of judgment, saying: 'O, Lord! I prevented him from food and from desires during the day, so make me an intercessor for him.' And the Qur'an will say: ' I prevented him sleeping at night, so make me an intercessor for him. ' He may Allah peace be upon him added: "Then Allah will grant grant them intercession."
This is an authentic hadith. May Allah {S.W.A}bless us and grant us deep understanding of the Religion Ameen.

     Rulings of fasting

    Rulings of fasting

The obligation to fast during the month of Ramadan
    1. The linguist meaning of sawm Is to totally abstain from something, as in the following peotic verses:
" Horses which hold back and horses which do not hold back Beneath the dust( of battle), which others are chomping at the bit."
This was said by An-Nabighah Az-Zubyani in his 'Deewan'(112).
( Translators note: His real name was Ziyad ibn mu'awiyah a poet)
The juristic meaning of sawm:Refraining from eating, drinking and sexual intercourse, along with the intention to do so, from dawn until sunset.
Some Qur'anic commentator have said that two kinds of sawn are mentioning in Qur'an:
The first is the juristic type of sawm which is known as in the words of Allah the most high said:
    يَـٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُواْ كُتِبَ عَلَيۡڪُمُ ٱلصِّيَامُ كَمَا كُتِبَ عَلَى ٱلَّذِينَ مِن قَبۡلِڪُمۡ لَعَلَّكُمۡ تَتَّقُونَ O ye who believe! Fasting is prescribed for you, even as it was prescribed for those before you, that ye may ward off (evil);Q-2:183
also in another verse Allah the most high said:
The month of Ramadan in which was revealed the Qur'an, a guidance for mankind, and clear proofs of the guidance, and the Criterion (of right and wrong). And whosoever of you is present, let him fast the month, and whosoever of you is sick or on a journey, (let him fast the same) number of other days. Allah desireth for you ease; He desireth not hardship for you; and (He desireth) that ye should complete the period, and that ye should magnify Allah for having guided you, and that peradventure ye may be thankful. Q-2:185
The second is silence as in the words of Allah, the most high:
    فَكُلِى وَٱشۡرَبِى وَقَرِّى عَيۡنًا‌ ۖ فَإِمَّا تَرَيِنَّ مِنَ ٱلۡبَشَرِ أَحَدًا فَقُولِىٓ إِنِّى نَذَرۡتُ لِلرَّحۡمَـٰنِ صَوۡمًا فَلَنۡ أُڪَلِّمَ ٱلۡيَوۡمَ إِنسِيًّا So eat and drink and be consoled. And if thou meetest any mortal, say: Lo! I have vowed a fast unto the Beneficent, and may not speak this day to any mortal. Q-19:26
there is nothing disliked in a person saying"
ramadhan has come and ramadhan has gone ,"according to the majority Muslim scholars, based upon the hadith of Abu hurairah may Allah be pleased with him Who reported that the messager Of Allah may peace be upon him said.
When the month of ramadhan come, the gates of paradise are opened, the gates of hell are closed and the devils are chained up"
Narrated by Al-bukahri in (no.1899) and Muslim (no.1079).
This is an authentic hadith. It is also because saying that something is dislike must be substantiated by a legal prohibition of it and there is no such confirmation in the Islamic law. As for the hadith Abu hurairah may Allah be pleased with him in which it is stated that he said: " the messenger of Allah may peace be upon him said:
"Do not say: " Ramadan ", because Ramadan is one of the names of Allah; instead, say: the month of Ramadan." It is a week hadith.
    Narrated by Al-Baihaqi in as-sunan Al-kubra(4/201).
the ruling of fasting:Fasting in Ramadan is one of the pillars of Islam.
Allah, the most high says in surah Al- Baqarah (2:183):
    يَـٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُواْ كُتِبَ عَلَيۡڪُمُ ٱلصِّيَامُ كَمَا كُتِبَ عَلَى ٱلَّذِينَ مِن قَبۡلِڪُمۡ لَعَلَّكُمۡ تَتَّقُونَ O ye who believe! Fasting is prescribed for you, even as it was prescribed for those before you, that ye may ward off (evil);
It is reported on the authority of Abdullah ibn umar may Allah be please with him, from the prophet Muhammad may peace be upon him said:
Islam is founded on five principles, I.e. belief in Allah and his messenger, the five compulsory prayers, fasting the month of Ramadan, the payment of Zakat and the hajj."
    This is an authentic hadith.
    Narrated by all-bukhari(no.8) and Muslim(no.18).
may Allah {S.W.A}bless us and grant us deep understanding of the Religion Ameen.

    How To Receive Ramadan

    How To Receive Ramadan

In the name of of Allah the Merciful ...
    with what you welcome Ramadan?
And how many we prepare for Ramadan?
Brewing types of juices and drinks ?
    Do you provide food items?
Are you cooking kitchens and dining halls?
I take leave from work and full time to sleep?
Q: What are the proper ways to receive this great month?
The Muslim should not exaggerate in the seasons of worship, and be of those who came before it and of those who compete with it. Allaah says (interpretation of the meaning): Al-Habib al-Mustapha (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: "Do good for your destitution, and be subject to the blessings of God's mercy. For Allah has blessings from His mercy that He wills from His slaves." They asked Allaah to conceal your awrah and to believe in your supplications.

    We welcome Ramadan with things
First: Praying that God inform you the month of Ramadan The Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: Du'aa 'is worship. Narrated by Al-Sunan with a saheeh hadeeth, which is in Saheeh Abi Dawood, 1329
The Salaf al-Salih called on Allaah to inform them of Ramadaan, and then they invited him to accept them.
If you have reached Ramadaan and you see the crescent, it says as the Messenger of Allaah (may peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) saw the crescent moon and said:
O Allah, grant us success in Yemen, faith, safety and Islam
(HAMK) for Talha. Shaykh al-Albaani said: It is saheeh. See hadeeth no. 4726 in Saheeh al-Jaami '

Al-Nawawi (may Allaah have mercy on him) said in his Book of Supplication: I know that it is mustahabb for one who renews a visible blessing to him, or if he is pushed by a curse that is apparent to prostrate, thank God, or praise what is his family. By your side last year and now lying in the dust waiting for a valid invitation, even if he was told to wish to say an hour of Ramadan, so you
Third: joy and joy, it was proven from the Messenger of Allah that he was preaching the companions of the month of Ramadan, he says:
(Ramadan came to you, the month of Ramadan, the month of Mubarak, God wrote to you fasting in which the doors of Jinan and shut the doors of hell ... Hadith) [Narrated by Ahmad].
Our good ancestor of the Companions of the Messenger of Allah and those who follow them with charity have been interested in the month of Ramadan, and are glad to visit it, and any greater joy of the news near the Ramadan season of good, and descend the mercy.
Imagine a guest Aziz you did not see him a year ago and came to you, what do you do to him is Ramadan is where to welcome the good work

Fourthly: Determining the sincere determination to take advantage of it and the building of its time with good deeds. Whoever believes in Allah's sincerity and obedience to obedience, and pleases Him with good ways, Allaah says: "If they believed God, it would be good for them." [Muhammad: 21] To hit the arrow from here and come out of here and God's credibility and Vsdkih be sincere with God
Fifth: Knowledge and jurisprudence of the provisions of Ramadan, the believer must worship God knowing, and does not excuse the ignorance of the obligations imposed by God on the slaves, including fasting Ramadan should learn the issues of fasting and provisions before his coming, "Ask the people of the Qur'an if you do not know" [The Prophets: 7]. Do not forget people three world and educated and you are of any kind
Sixth: We have to accept with determination to leave sins and sins and sincere repentance of all sins, and to stop them and not to return to it, it is the month of repentance who did not repent when he repent ?! Allaah says (interpretation of the meaning): "And repent to Allah all of you, believers, that ye may prosper" [al-Nur: 31]
Seventh: a good preparation for the call to God in it, through:
1 - Preparation of some words and guidance in preparation for good in the mosque live in the shop in the job Be calling to God on the insight and do not be those who took ignorance way.
2 - distribution of brochures and preaching and jurisprudence messages related to Ramadan to worshipers and people of the neighborhood.
3 - Preparation (gift Ramadan) You can use in this (circumstance) to put two tapes and a booklet, and write on it (the gift of Ramadan).
4 - Remind the poor and needy, and make alms and Zakat them.

Eighth: We welcome Ramadan by opening a bright white page with: Allah Almighty with sincere repentance. Allaah says (interpretation of the meaning):
Allaah says (interpretation of the meaning): "O ye who believe! Repent to Allah with sincere repentance, may your Lord forgive you your sins, and enter you Gardens beneath which rivers flow."
Allaah says (interpretation of the meaning): "But repentance to Allah is for those who do evil in ignorance, and repent soon.
Allaah says (interpretation of the meaning): "God wants to repent to you, and those who follow desires want to have a great inclination." (27) From Qatada, from him said: The Messenger of Allah peace be upon him "I repent in the day seventy times" The Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: "Ask forgiveness of Allaah ... for there is no god but He, the living, the living, and repent to Him." Three times His sins were forgiven.
B - Open a blank page with the Prophet peace be upon him obedience to the command and avoid what was forbidden and denied.
C - Open a blank page with parents and relatives, and the womb and the wife and children on the mainland and the link.
D - open a blank page with the community in which you live in order to be a good and useful slave, he said peace be upon him: the best people to benefit the people said Sheikh al-Albani: (Hassan) See Hadith No: 3289 in the Whole Mosque.

Ninth: Fidelity to God in fasting: (110) The cave and sincerity is the spirit of obedience, and the key to accept the remaining good deeds, and the reason for the help and reconciliation of the Lord of the beings, and on the basis of faith, sincerity and honesty with God and in the will of goodness Be God's help to the servant of the believer, said Ibn al-Qayyim - may Allah have mercy on him said:"And on the basis of the intention of the slave and his desire and desire and desire" may Allah {S.W.A}bless us and grant us deep understanding of the Religion Ameen.
