MTN TRANSFERS: HOW TO USE MTN SHARE ‘N’ SELL

Have you ever wondered how to send
airtime from your MTN number to your
loved ones, without having to buy recharge
cards and reeling out long numbers to
them? Well, this can be easily done through
the MTN Share and Sell. By initiating Share
‘N’ Sell, MTN has made it possible for
airtime, ranging from #50 to #5000, to be
transferred between MTN customers
through their phones.



HOW DOES MTN SHARE ‘N’ SELL
WORK?

As a first time user of MTN Share ‘N’ Sell, it
is advisable to change your pin before any
transaction so as to ensure that your phone
is not trespassed upon and used to send
airtime randomly. Have it in mind, then,
that the default pin is 0000.





Changing your MTN share ‘n’ sell pin

To change your pin, you should dial

*600*0000*NEW PIN*NEW PIN# .

What this means is that if you decide your
new pin (which must be a four digit
number) will be 3421 , then you should dial,


*600*0000*3421*3421#. .


Another way you can change your pin is by
sending a message with the entry 0000 NEW
PIN NEW PIN to 777 . Again, if your pin were
to be 3421, it would be


0000 3421 3421 to 777 .


Once a confirmation message is sent to you,
you can commence transfers of airtime.
Simply dial *600*Recipient’s
number*amount*PIN# . Here is an example:

*600*09037297122*200*3421#


You can also transfer using an SMS Format,
just enter this: Transfer/space/Recipient’s
number/space/amount/space/PIN. Send this to
777 .


An example: Transfer 09037297122 200 3421 to
777

In another confirmation message that will
be sent, enter the word YES and forward it
to them. Bear it in mind though that you
can only share airtime worth #10,000 every
day.
