Common mistakes job Applicant make.

Common mistakes job Applicant make.

COMMON ERRORS JOB APPLICANTS MAKE.

Sometimes, it not the organization that has refused to call you back for an interview. The problem might just be from your end, below are some points you should really consider and make proper adjustments before applying for the next job.

1. Grammatical/Spelling errors: Employers or recruiters might see a grammatical error as a lack of detail-orientation on your end.

What to do? Always proofread your resume from bottom to top, this helps you focus on each line or simply have someone else with good judgment proofread it.

2. Applying to multiple roles: Applying to multiple roles in the same organization shows that you don't know what you can do or what you want to do for the company.

What to do? Focus on your strong point, what you are good at and apply for a position in that line.

3. Lies: Putting a lie on your resume is never, ever, ever, worth it. What happens when your employers get to find out? People get fired for lying about a skill, a second or third degree, or for just lying at all.

What to do?  Work on your yourself, if you desire a certain skill or a degree work towards it don't just wish it into your resume.

4. Not following instructions: often times when vacancies come up, there are specific instructions on how to apply i.e. subject of the mail should read "REGIONAL MANAGER ENUGU SOUTH" but recruiters end up receiving emails with the subject such as "The best man for the Job" What are you trying to achieve? It might look like you are trying to sell your self over other applicants but it only shows the recruiter that you don't adhere to simple instructions.

What to do? Stick to the instruction that comes with the job advert and in situations where there are no such instructions simply state the role you are applying for as your mail subject. Don't forget your resume/cv should carry your full name not "Item 1" or "CV 1"

5. Zero attention to details: One of the many issues recruiters complain about the most is about applicants sending in their application and forgetting to attach their CV. Really? It's like going to the farm and leaving your tools behind. Some recruiters are patient enough to ask you to resend with your CV attached. For others, you just made their job easy by ticking you off the list.

What to do? Always check to see that you attached the necessary document before hitting the send button.

6. Winging it: Have you ever been in that awkward scenario where you are invited for an interview and you don't know anything about the company? It goes to show you don't care about putting in effort when it comes to preparation and it's most likely why you didn't get called back after the interview.

What to do? Never attend an interview under-prepared, most companies have websites or even social media handles. Read them up and learn a thing or two, it just might be the edge you will have over other applicants.

7. Unprofessional email address: Your email address should be professional and not suggestive, silly or funny.  Imagine having great skills, good degrees and sending in an application to a recruiter with an account from "sexyzzyx@gmail.com"

What to do? As a job applicant, you don't want to be the reason why you don't get called back. Create an account with your real names, they are easy to remember and they look professional enough i.e zakariabdullahi600@gmail.com

How do you treat those who work for you?

How do you treat those who work for you?

How do you treat those who work for you?
Asalamu Alaikun warahmatulahi wabarakatuk, Allah subhanawo watallah, the created, sustainer, provider, protector, and curer of one and all.
Complete blessing and salutation be upon Prophet Muhammad salallahu Alaihi wasallam, his Household, his companion, those that follow him, those shall follow him, shall follow him up-to the day of judgement.Ameen.
After praising Allahu subhanawo watallah and sending salutation be upon our beloved Prophet Muhammad salallahu Alaihi wasallam.
I want us to learn a lesson from the Hadith of Anas bin Malik, how Prophet Muhammad salallahu Alaihi wasallam Treat him as his servant.
Hadith on Manners: Anas testifies to the character of the Prophet Muhammad Salallahu Alaihi wasallam.
Anas ibn Malik reported: I served the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, for ten years. By Allah, he never even said to me, “Uff!” He never said harshly for anything, “Why did you do that?” or, “Why did you not do that?”
Source: Sahih al-Bukharī 5691, Sahih Muslim 2309
Grade: Muttafaqun Alayhi (authenticity agreed upon) according to Al-Bukhari and Muslim.
The point I want raise here is how do you treat those who work for you?
Imagine Anas was given to Prophet Muhammad salallahu Alaihi wasallam as a servant by his mother and he said he serve Prophet Muhammad salallahu Alaihi wasallam for ten all years, By Allah, he never even said to me Uff! to me.(not one day he passed a comment that hurts me, not once). I sat and think for those who work for us, how do we treat them? did we make a comment that hurt them? when we ask them to do something that is very easy and it will not take them a minute to do and they take ten minutes too long, what will we said? we might said or make little noise like Uff!, AHH! or something similar to these, what do you think you're doing? If we make a little noise, we're are we with the sunnah of Prophet Muhammad salallahu Alaihi wasallam?.

He continue and he said He never said harshly for anything, “Why did you do that?” or, “Why did you not do that?” Anas said, one day I was sent by Prophet Muhammad salallahu Alaihi wasallam to do something, as I was going, then I saw young boys of my age playing a game, so i stay and I joined them and letter, I now enter on my forgot of what I was told to do, a while letter, someone just tap me on my shoulder and I look back to see who the person was and it was Prophet Muhammad salallahu Alaihi wasallam, he smiled at me and he said, Ya unais, did you forgot what I told you? I replied No yarasulullah sallahlahu Alaihi wasallam I will go now ya rasulullah salallahu Alaihi wasallam and I went". In other narration Prophet Muhammad salallahu Alaihi wasallam went to it by him self.
Salallahu Alaihi wasallam.
I want us to draw a lesson from this, imagine you send your boy to do some necessary thing for you and you letter saw him playing a game, suddenly you tap him at his back, what will that boy think of? the boy might said, " I'm death!!! I lost my job.
what will you do?
Are you going to beat him, shout at him or sack him completely from the job, take a look at what prophet salallahu Alaihi wasallam did to Anas bin Malik, he smiled at him and said to him ya unais(he add loved and respect to Anas name by calling him ya unais) did you forget what I ask you to do? How many of us is ready to follow this beautiful exam of Prophet Muhammad salallahu Alaihi wasallam.
Anas said: Wallahi I sarve Muhammad salallahu Alaihi wasallam for Ten all years:
He never ever slap me and He never Swear me.
My brothers my sisters I want us to learn a lesson from these, look at the Prophet Muhammad salallahu Alaihi wasallam with Anas bin Malik, serving him for 10 all years, he never slap him, he never swear him, he never ask him why did you do this, why did you do it this way, He will do it by him self with a smile.
Let seat and think of those who work with us or those who work for us, did we ever slap, shout or swear for them? If we ever slap, shout and swear them, we're are we with the sunnah of Prophet Muhammad salallahu Alaihi wasallam, perfect example.
Allah subhanawo Watallah said in the Qur'an 33 verse 21
Indeed, you have perfect example in the life of Muhammad salallahu Alaihi wasallam in the person of Muhammad salallahu Alaihi wasallam for those who remember Allah for those who are looking forward for meeting Allah subhanawo watallah those are looking forward for the Hereafter their is example in Muhammad salallahu Alaihi wasallam.

Here he is, No swear words for those who work for him, never did he shout and never did he slap.
May Allah subhanawo watallah guide us to the straight part and protect us from evil.Ameen.

Important of sharing knowledge

Important of sharing knowledge

Asalamu Alaikun my brothers and sisters in Islam. We will be speaking about how important to share beneficial knowledge.
The Prophet Muhammad may peace be upon him said: "The best amongs you is the one who learn the Qur'an and teach it to others" The point we want to raise here is  If you have  knowledge, teach it to others no matter what, they will be no any benefit of keeping that knowledge with you because you will die with it and nobody will benefit from it
So my brothers, my sisters, share the little knowledge you have so that others may benefit from you even if you are to spend a little bit of what you have. In other narration of the Prophet Muhammad S.A.W said: "whoever create ease for mankind, Allah will create ease for him in the day of judgement".
May Allah Subhanawo watallah let us share the little knowledge we have and guide us to the straight part. Ameen.

Tale about life by umar sanda lakpene

Tale about life by umar sanda lakpene

This being understood as the precious gift serves as SINE QUA NON, in human existence, life seems to be considered as nothing but ended mission, life is vanity upon vanity, vanity is the sense that life is all about generation upon generation. life is all about learning lessons, some lessons are pain some are painless but they are all priceless, when life gives you hundred reasons to cry, shows life you have thousand reasons to smile, in life you will realize that anybody you meet is for a purpose, either for a lesson or a blessing, either they teach you or you teach them, the most important thing is the people that can bring out the best or see the the best in you. Never extra-vagant your time with the people who cannot see the best or bring out the best in you. In life consider everybody as somebody, simply because nobody knows tomorrow. in life do not hesitate to learn. do not feel pompus, Or pride in life, the stoppage point of your wisdom might be the starting point of others.knowledge is somebody, knowledge is power, knowledge is strong, but once you are opportune to have supersede someone in knowledge never feel best the best, in life nobody posses fully the monopoly of knowledge, perfection is not in human charater, certainly perfection it is an attribute of Allah (S.W.T) but the must important thing is to seek for knowledge. In short life all about endless journey in learning. But remember that DEATH IS THE END OF EVERY PLAN, Life being understood.

PIECES OF ADVICE BY ABDULLAH ZAKARIYAH MANTAFIEN.
Life is not all about partying, having fun, they way we young men of now a days thinks, some people thinks life is all about Enjoyment and having fun but that is not true, there is something great in life which is to fulfilled the right of your maker, (Allah) Remember anything beside Allah is false, obey the instruction of Allah and his Rasul you will achieve alot, All the goodness you have in this world is a tip compared to the goodness of Paradise and all the hardship you come to across in this word is only a tip compared to the hardship of hell fire, So we should not be more interested in this worldly material items, We should be thankfull for what we have,The great richness is contentment, The best provision is taqwa, Be Genuine to your leaders do not swear them, pray for them its Allah who choose them to be your leader not with their capacity, If you were to give 1000years to leave in this world they will come a time that you will still have to died, Death is something that each one of us will pass through may Allah S.W.A grant us a good death Ameen.
Rasulullah Sallallaahu Alaihi-Wasallam said "An Intelligent Person Is 1 Who Is Constantly Thinking About And Preparing For Death." I end with a dua in the qur'an where Allah S.W.A said; رَبَّنَآ ءَاتِنَا فِى ٱلدُّنۡيَا حَسَنَةً وَفِى ٱلۡأَخِرَةِ حَسَنَةً وَقِنَا عَذَابَ ٱلنَّار
"Our Lord! Give unto us in the world that which is good and in the Hereafter that which is good, and guard us from the doom of Fire."
